14 Strongoes, the Lendochina was caught in alive July 25
by a captain.
This morning I build traps and prepared
specimens. This early afternoon I set at 10 still
traps along the southern lake shore to the east of
the bay. Then in the twenty lake shore area
I digging of what appeared to be made
by a similar animal. Most of the
afternoon was rainy so that I am unable
to do work as should like. The mornings we
spent in preparing specimens, and the afternoon
in resetting traps and when raining the late
is impossible.
This afternoon at 12:30 1 sergeant, 4 adlin,
2 captain, and 1 Ozed returned from Terrick party
in the Broad Valley.
The most important thing is probably
the activity of Gale today. It made its
first parachute delivery to Captain Terrick,
and landed successfully on the new lake to
deliver supplies at von Arbo. He was then
with his entire party in good spirits and
good health.
