May 12 Hollandia New Guinea Today we completed the cementing of the second godown the other one had a good cement floor which belonged to a previous building on that sight. They were an old (1927 years) model Fokkers with 2 motors and wing opened of about 75 feet. They certainly impressed the people of our fin city. According to the radio operator who lived with us tonight they are patrolling the coasts of New Guinea, Borneo, etc. Looking for Chinese smuggling or rather Japanese airplanes was an island at 3 mile limit without the necessary permits.
