Remain in camp all day recovering from yesturday illness. Trap staked, traps prepared specimens and sent 27 stil traps to the ridge south east of camp. Today's Papuans were in with 4 dogs for trial. We purchased 2 of the best specimens and prepared them. They mind about camp for about 1 more hour trying to find customers for this unpurchased dogs and then just as they come. Evening packed 2 boxes off specimens for tomorrow transport down to the Bungalow Camp. Late evening went out looking, Bats (small) was the only mammals seen. Heard dogs barking in the distance, direction toward 1200m camp. There are very few, late to be seen out and only saw one or two I heard the flapping of wings of the day first late.
