To the right along a ditch border on green with weeds and continues up a small weed with can grass, then across a flat with can grass, some grass, and scattered shrubs. The clay earth road with quantity of can grass and brush forming dense thickets, and finally along a stone wall leading to a grassy abandoned garden gated. There still remain 185 more traps and 28 stick traps. This afternoon went along the the west bank of the river down to the bridge, and then land through the abandoned cultivated area fields of the upper valley edge. It was searching for a good trapping area but with little success. Weather: 6:00 - 17:00 clear with occasional shifting clouds. 17:00 - 20:00 overcast, rain. Dec 10 Balin R. This trap line follows the river bank for about ½ kilometer and then along the lowland ditch and shrubs. The vegetation seems from grass, cane, to shrub. This afternoon went down up the river area 2 to 3 kilometers. Here there is a stretch of river bank forest which has not been disturbed by pigs and men for some while.
