Nov 30 Beli P. 18km NE of Raboona, Netherlands New Guinea 2200m. 213 net type, 5 stuck types - 0 The natives brought in the following: 1 Pseudochimys, 7 Phascogales, 4 Arisonyas, 1 Malloraya, 4 Peroryctes. Today studied types and prepared specimens. The morning my collecting boys set 186 more traps and 17 stuck types in the first month of camp. Weather: 6.00 - 10.00 overcast 10.00 - 12.00 broken clouds. 12.00 - 20.00 overcast with light intermittent rain. Dec 1 Beli P. 18km NE of Raboona, Netherlands New Guinea 2200m. 213 net types, 184 more types, 22 stuck types. - 1 Mallorys. The natives brought in the following: 2 Phalangers, 2 Chorayos, 6 Arisonyas, 2 Phascogales, 1 Potoromys, Press shot 1 Phascogale = 70.40. Today natives as usual, studying types and preparing specimens. I examined the traps for which the collecting boys set at getting. It is a well-set dim track beginning in the third second growth, out in open forest areas, though some parts with rotten old banana pseudogrowth, on steep forest slopes with many nets of logs and finally into the thickly second growth. Weather: 6.00 - 14.00 overcast with occasional breaks. Light rain in morning. 14.00 - 16.00 Ands large gaps 16.00 - 20.00 overcast, light rain.
