1965 RRJ 28 SIGHTS 22 JUNE 65 Went to ship at 0830 boat. Ran remainder of island (25 S.S., 15 cat.), skinned Ziq. and J.T. Dennis on board for 2nd day treating crapped crotch. Mine is improving rapidly! Back to land at 1530 boat. Finished up last of fish erasing. Set out for S.T. colours at 1630. Began loading before complete darkness. The four I unhandled 5000 birds. J handled 1300. Back to camp + caught 2 Geese. Went to bed. 23 June 65 Up at 0530, broke camp. Off island at 0630. Repacked gear for Malden + sackled out until island in sight at 1600. Ashore on Malden at 5 Wend of island & set up camp in abandoned military camp. Sand beach but little oral heads + high surf. Set up cot, etc., set out up beach & sampled 36 RFBs from Pissinia trees. Came back to camp + set out
