1965 RRJ (11) SIC #8 Took 21 S.T. blood samples in evening. 25 May 65 Beleea samples (3) from ground litter around village. Under rock, board & pandanus mat. Down to Naul & Get Stander off. Collected 3 F.T., on road to camp, 5 Haw.Noddies over lagoon, 1 Can. Noddie, 2 G.P., 1 R.T. Counted 22 frig.sp. over lagoon. Saw imm. S.T. flying w/ adults. 200+ Haw.Noddies over treetops just N of S.T. Colony area, roosting on tops of Raoria. +100 roosting in old nesting area further S. Took Beleea samples from Zoland. Can. Noddie nest, 4/ from aband. Haw.N. nest. Saw 4 BTC. Took ectoparasites & skinned birds in afternoon. Looked for S.T. in evening - none on ground. Shot 2 cats on way back
