Totals Western Grebe - 39 White Pelican - 237 Double-crested Cormorant - 4 Blue Heron - 26 Black-crowned Night Heron - 4 Snowy Egret - 40 White-faced Glossy Ibis - 80 Canada Goose - 25 Mallard - 52. Only a few still left in pairs in territories. Small flocks of drakes here and there. Drakes, some, beginning to moult. Only one brood. Gadwall - 32. Still mostly in pairs. Pintail - 39. One flock of 30 males included. 2 pairs. Others lone males. Beginning to change plumage. Green-winged Teal - 1 Cinnamon Teal - 89. Some males have left the territories and are flocked up in flock of 6 or 7 birds. Shoveller - 15. Redhead - 304. Must still be coming in. Saw one brood on Northwest pond. Had 7 Class I. Rudd Duck - 9. Two broods on Northwest Pond. Turkey Vulture - 4 Marsh Hawk - 5 Coot - 462 Killdeer - 2 Avocet - 85 Black-necked Stilt - 13 Wilson's Phalarope Gulls - 71 Forester's Tern Caspian Tern - 32 23 Owl, probably a short-eared.
