White water Canyon, 0.8 mi (by road) N White Water
Riverside Co., Calif. - ♂ - #145- trapped over
night under a dry creosote bush with many (2 dozen)
cactuses (foot high) under it. The ground is as light
West facing slope, with sparse dry grass and scattered
rocks, [illegible], bushes, and cactuses. One
rodent hole was evident near by. This is a
skull only. The animal was hit on the middle
of the back, but in good condition. No time
to do anything, today. Skull only
