April 17 Ordinance No. 2346 (Repealed by Ordinance No. 2350) Whereas, the City Council of the City of San Antonio, Texas, has adopted an ordinance entitled "An Ordinance to Regulate the Keeping and Maintenance of Animals Within the Limits of said City"; Now therefore be it enacted by the Mayor and City Council of the City of San Antonio, Texas, as follows: Section 1. That all persons who keep or maintain within the limits of said City any animal other than dogs or cats shall hereafter be subject to the provisions of this Ordinance. Section 2. That no person shall keep or maintain within the limits of said City any animal which is not registered with the Department of Health and Human Services, nor shall any such animal be allowed to run at large within said City. Section 3. That every owner of any animal kept or maintained in violation of this Ordinance shall be liable for all damages resulting therefrom, including but not limited to injury to persons or property. Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to publish a copy of this Ordinance once a week for three consecutive weeks in some newspaper published in said City. Section 5. That this Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its publication as herein provided. Passed and approved this seventeenth day of April, A.D. nineteen hundred forty-three.
