Nest on the ground in
deep tules. The nest was
sink 2 1/2 ft from main level
of of tules and grass 14 " from
the ground. Hollow about
18" across at bottom nest
14" wide. Nearly tuly of t.
Nest made of tule grass
and a few willow sticks.
Very little cup and rather
small. A small marsh potit
rather dense and full of trees
(willows). Bird flushed at 10 ft.
Made great commotion. In morning
before nest was located both birds were hunt
