Pinto, Jean 2013 Journal High point on road from Tapalpa to Cuquillas, Chiepas, Mexico (cont.) Aug. 24 ... trees and two of ferns (including tree ferns). Mostly very steep w/ few logs; we couldn't really search by day. At nightfall, we drove to the intersection w/ road to Octepec and searched on roadbanks for ~15 min but saw nothing. We then searched from 20:50-11:25; I went into the forest + got 3 Batrachosoma of Hartwegi (2 on vegetation, 1 on ground) while the others (including Anna Fuller) looked on road banks and got nothing. The day was cloudy w/ intermittent light rain and the night was fairly cold (maybe 13°C) w/ no rain but lots of mist.
