Lambert H. M. This edition contains the MAN literature pertaining to this machine as well as that of the two previous models, namely, the F-10 and F-20. This new model is described in Chapter 3 of the book, while the F-10 and F-20 are covered in Chapters 4 and 5. The F-10 (or "F-Ten") has a four-cylinder engine with an output of about 75 horsepower at 2800 rpm. It can be used for light utility work or as a small transport aircraft. The fuel tank holds approximately 3 gallons, which gives it a range of about 40 miles at cruising speed. The F-20 (or "F-Twenty") is essentially the same as the F-10 but with a more powerful engine producing around 90 horsepower. Its fuel capacity is increased to 5 gallons, extending its range to roughly 60 miles. Both models feature fixed landing gear and conventional controls. The pilot sits behind the controls in an open cockpit configuration. Instruments include standard gauges for airspeed, altitude, manifold pressure, tachometer, oil pressure, temperature, and fuel quantity. For further details on operation and maintenance procedures, refer to the accompanying pilot's handbook.
