A "tourist-perfect" day today - sun, blue sky, slight
breeze. Anne & Steve did watches in the morning
and I entered data while feeding our healthy/happy
chicks. Steve took over in the pm and Anne & I continued
watches. Temp 74°F-84°F; EHD returns this pm. JYL

Temp 77°F-84°F ; 3cm rain since last night.
Steve took the day off, and Anne worked
most of the day because a Bolafios
trip fell through when the tourists balked
at the early-morning rain. The day turned
out to be perfect, though. Julie & EHD
netted at BTE and GUL 4, hoping to
catch the local males but having no luck.
Anne did data entry in the morning and
watches in the afternoon. Activity on the
site has dropped DRAMATICALLY since
I left for Florida. Now one duetting
bout is considered an exciting watch.

Julie, Anne, & Emily set nets near CCCI,
F-BR, and LHK - a big area that can
be centrally monitored. We caught three
unbanded young males (2 CB's and one with a
tawny "spot" that's probably a hatch-year
male. Steve was sick, with a temperature of
106°, so the Bolafios plans were scrapped
for good.
