Feb. 16 - 1929. Cat No. 5'; 71. This sheimer was secured by myself while driving on the highway near Hayden Idaho. The rabbit was chasing a gray colored mumble, and was struck down in the road. 3 times The only other sheimer was sighted in the hills about 4 miles south west of Pocatello on Feb. 10- 1929. All indications would point to comparative scarcit of this species in Bonner Co. Idaho.
