the amount now in our public schools put back - a
larger amount to the schools, and some money from
-eght at most $10,000 for the year 1890,
and this is well done. The city's financial condition
is excellent and we need not worry about it.
The next thing to do is to look back over what we
have accomplished in our public works during the past
year and make a report of the work done at
once, and on August 20th at an
extra meeting of the council we will discuss the
question of the new water supply and the cost of
the waterworks. The question of the new waterworks
is being discussed by the city council and it is
hoped that they will be completed before the end of
the year.
The council has also decided to hold a special
meeting on August 20th to consider the question of
the new water supply and the cost of the waterworks.
