Jan. 14 Castroville, Monterey Co., Calif.: 1 imm/sub.-ad. in flooded artichoke fields between Molera Rd. and Castroville where it has been for 2 weeks: Obvious spoon-tipped broad bill, wings mostly pink with hint of dark tip; head seemed mostly white.
