Pt. Pinos - small shearwater with rapid wingbeat, very dark
above, pale below.
Jan.14 Monterey Bay boat trip, Monterey Co. Calif: 6 - amazing for
winter in Monterey Bay, but numbers were extraordinary last
2 months of '76.
March 31 Pigeon Point, San Mateo Co., Calif : 1 -> 5, fairly close to
shore; rapid wingbeat, small size
