Remsen, J.V. 1978 Bullock's Oriole Icterus bullockii Nov.24 Cameron Parish, Louisiana : 1 ad.♂ in "Smith's Woods" nr Johnson's Bayou - watched for 10 minutes as it sat motionless in trees 20 ft. up, 30 ft. away. Orange eyebrow, black eyeline, extensively white shoulders, orange face all seen clearly ; no visible traces of hybridization. The black of the back was somewhat scalloped with paler color, indicating some degree of immaturity (?).
