Kameny 2.V. 13.I 6th August Dear Princess, I am writing to you today because I have been thinking about the events of the last few days. The situation here is very tense and it seems that war is imminent. My father, Count Rantzau, has been away for some time now. He left us all in a state of uncertainty. My mother tried to keep things together but she is also feeling quite worried about what might happen next. We have received word from our allies that they are preparing for conflict as well. It seems everyone is bracing themselves for whatever comes next. Please let me know how you are doing. We miss you dearly here and would love to hear from you soon. Yours truly, Prince William
