1982 2 July Don't Rock My World (song) I know I can do it, but I'm afraid to try. It's like trying to fly without wings. But maybe one day I will learn how to fly. My dad always said, "You'll never make it." But he was wrong. He didn't understand what I could do. I started playing guitar when I was 10 years old. My mom bought me my first guitar for my birthday. It was a cheap acoustic guitar, but it sounded great. I practiced every day after school. Sometimes I would play until midnight. My neighbors complained about the noise. But I didn't care. One day, I decided to enter a talent show. I was nervous at first. But when I walked onto the stage, everything changed. The audience cheered loudly. They loved my song. I felt so proud of myself. After the show, my dad came up to me. He said, "You did great." For the first time in my life, I knew I had made my dad proud.
