Length of time observed 5 minutes (again for 5 mins. on 5-26)
Sex ? - it did sing atleast twice Plumage (e.g. Breeding) imm(?) - not bright orange
Overall appearance and relative size: although obviously a warbler, the resemblance to a nuthatch was striking - large thick bill, stumpy tail, plump body.
Bill: conspicuously large, long for a warbler. Black - looked dipped in ink.
Crown and forehead: bright yellow but it had a couple of duller greenish patches.
Nape yellow
Face golden yellow
Eye Black eye large and conspicuous - matched the bill
Throat bright yellow - golden, not lemon yellor
Breast and sides ))
Belly and flanks upper - bright golden yellow lower - whitish
Undertail coverts whitish, very long - extending almost to tail tip.
Back greenish
Wings - steely gray - perhaps bluish tinge.
Underwings not seen
Rump not noted
Uppertail coverts not noted
