Titmouse and Scrub Jay (regularly in the sand May 2 Dunes Rd, Santa Clara Co, Calif.: one bird limited plain chickadee was very short and scattered associated of juniper + a few greek oaks - this only from a number-tree at about 5800' in a granite Feb. 17 Hwy. 38 Simms to McKittrick, Kern Co, Calif.: I think coast. I have seen them bare several times in the bay habitat and usually to see this bird so close to the in scrubby willow thickets containing sand dunes - unusual Jan. 16 Anso Navega Rd, San Mateo Co, Calif.: 5 pairs singing 301 Camino Gordo, Control Costs Co, Calif.: 1
