June 20 Run frogs at 7:15 a.m. Clear, some dew but only of a few patches of perennial grass. Cloud frogs Row A 7 minota, 2 mus Row C 4 " , 4 mus, 1 dendrobates Row E 2 " 4 mus Row H 1 " 4 mus Row J 1 " 3 mus Total 15 minota, 17 mus, 1 dendrobate. Today's Lincoln Index = (77 x 17) / 3 = 436 Moved frogs to rows B, D, F, I and K at 5 p.m. = 50 frogs June 21 Night clear, no dew. Picked up frogs at 7:30 a.m. Row B 9 minota, 1 mus Row I 1 minota, 6 mus, 1 Reithro Row D 1 minota, 4 mus Row K 1 minota, 1 mus Row F 2 minota, 2 mus Total 14 minota, 14 mus, 1 Reithro. Today's Lincoln Index (omitting 1 retho) = (92 x 13) / 6 = 199 Judging from the first Lincoln Index there was sampling a population of about 225 mus. The grid area was 32400ft², and the average range (from 18 minota including movement) was 30 ft. adding 30 ft to all sides of grid = 57600 ft² = 1.32 acres or 170 mus per acre
