may 9 at 8 a.m. ninety wayline held 6 Rattlers (all old, some of them mangy and dead), 1 foxes, 5 Peromyscus maniculatus, and 19 Microtus. Tagged the Rattlers, released Mikes, left Mus for dissection (21 Mus).
Lower Colbourn line took 2 Rattlers, 1 Microtus, and 16 Mus. Upper line 3 Rattlers, 9 Microtus, 1 Spermophilus, and 13 Mus. Did dissection cards for Mus. Smallest Microtus 23 gram June 7, a female with 6 new borns, 2 pregnant 9 + 8 emb, rest ??

may 9 (cont.). Picked up Sherman at 4 p.m.: 19 Microtus and 5 Mus and 1 Peromyscus maniculatus.
may 10 Light rain during night. Lower Colbourn line at 8 a.m. took 1 Peromyscus maniculatus, 2 Rattlers, 8 Mus, and 2 Microtus. Upper line took 1 garter snake, 8 Mus, and 6 Microtus.
Of the Microtus, one was a 26-gram pup with 3 lump embryos, one a 2 with 6 large embryos, rest ?? (one of them a monster of 78.6 grams).
may 11 at 7 a.m. packed up Colbourn lines. Lower line took 3 Microtus, 3 Mus, and 3 Rattlers. Upper line took 1 brush rabbit (about 150 grams), 3 Microtus, 6 Mus, and 3 Rattlers. Light brief rain during night.
Smallest Mike was a ♀ 14 grams. One other ♀ and 4 females with 6,6,5,5 embryos.
