1960 Oct.20 picked up Charlie Hill trap at 8:30 a.m. 10 Minerite (0 tagged) and 3 Reithro (1 tagged), [87 Sherman] at 5 p.m. put 88 sherman and 88 minerite specks in Tilder. Oct.21 at 8 a.m. traps held 84 Reithros, 6 Miner, and 3 Peromyscus (1 of them trui). 1 of the Reithro tagged last way), 19 of them tagged in Sept. Oct.22 picked up traps at 8 a.m. catch 48 Reithro (7 tagged; 26 released), 7 Peromyscus (1 of them trui), 3 Miner. at 10 a.m. set 76 sherman and 76 minerite specks along lowest Tilder line. Oct.23 at 9 a.m. (wee drizzle) traps held 84 Reithro (10 of them tagged), 2 Miner, 1 Peromyscus, 1 Minerite, + 1 Lernhorite. Many speck traps with tacks only, and many with mouse rolled. One speck trap with 2 Reithro, another with just an ear-tag flying out of it. Total catch 1 Minerite, Oct.24 at 9 a.m. traps held 3 song sparrows, 61 Reithro, 8 Miner, 3 minerite, and 3 Peromyscus. Oct.25 picked up traps at 8 a.m.; 47 Reithrae (4 tagged, 23 of them released), 2 Minerite, 3 Miner, 1 Peromyscus, 1 Lernhorite. Nov.10 First frost, Nov.11 First real rain storm of the season Nov.21 put 80 sherman in picture at 5 p.m. Nov.22 at 8 a.m. 12 Reithro (5 tagged over), 7 minerite, and 13 Miner at 5 p.m. 2 Reithro (almost dark), 6 minerite, and 10 Miner.
