None of the Ruthers were tagged; all released. Picked up traps at 2 p.m. (10 Merciotes, 1 Emberio), saw 1 small golden snake with bridge in middle). 2 of the snakes were tagged over. Set traps (85 Sherranes) at Glenetta Road below Martha Rd. (same line as left 20), 5 p.m. Oct. 13 at 8-9 a.m. 7 Mns (killed), 25 Ruthers (killed) and 19 Merciotes (to Away). One Ruther tagged last away, and one 3 weeks ago; 7 Merciotes tagged 3 weeks ago. at 2 p.m. 15 Merciotes (5 tagged) and 6 Mns. Oct 14 8-9 a.m. 13 Merciote (1 tagged), 22 Ruthro. (1 tagged) and 9 Mns. Saw 3 cats hunting the area. Oct 15 Picked up traps 1 p.m. 18 Ruthro, 18 Merciotes (2 of them tagged over), and 12 Mns. Oct. 17 at 5 p.m. Set 88 Sherranes at Charlie Hill Rd. with Minnesota science students. Most sets by them. Many droppings scattered in field. Same line as left 23. Oct. 18 at 7 a.m. 2 Mns, 11 Ruthro (3 tagged), and 9 Merciotes, at 1 p.m. 20 Merciotes (2 tagged) and 1 Ruthro. Oct 19 Same line at 8-9 a.m. 6 Ruthro (0 tagged) and 28 Merciotes (0 tagged). at 5 p.m. same line had 15 snakes, 1 Mns, none tagged.
