Sept 25. Put 89 shermans in pasture at 3 p.m. Hot.
Sept 26. At 8 a.m. 3 mice (released), 59 Mice (killed) and
12 Rats (killed). Total 74. Three of the Rats were of
23 tagged on Sept. 6. Left traps out. At 5 p.m. had 3 mice
and 13 Mice. Released mice, killed Mice. Left traps out.
Sept 27 At 8 AM traps held 3 mice, 44 Mice, and 15 Rats
including 7 intramural receptors and (1 receptor from May).
Total catch 62 mice. Kept Rats and Mice; released mice
left traps out. At 5 p.m. traps held 2 Mice and 3 mice.
Sept 28 Some live, held 6 mice, 11 Rats, and 25 Mice.
Released all except for 1 tagged Rat. Total 42.
moved traps at 5 p.m. to field north of pasture; same
live as May 7th and Sept. 7.
Sept 29 At 8 a.m. traps held 6 mice, 31 Mice, and
12 Rats. Total 49. Kept Mice and Rats. Only 2
of the Rats were tagged once. Left traps out.
At 5 p.m. traps held 3 Mice and 2 mice. Added
28 more mice effective to end of line, closely spaced (4 yoke).
Sept 30 Picked up traps. 9 mice, 36 Mice, and 16 Rats.
Total 61. Released all Mice and Mice, kept all except
4 Rats.
Oct. 2 Put 66 shermans across pattern of Orinda pasture, up
Fitzgerald fence, and across fence at top of pasture. 5:30 p.m.
Oct. 3 Fallworm. At 8 a.m. had 2 mice, 33 Mice, and 23
Rats. Total 58. Kept Mice + Rats.
In p.m. at 5 p.m. traps held at least 3 mice and 6 Mice. Saw
2 boys release at least 3 mice. Left traps out.
