aug 25 Run traps 8-10:30 am. 2 Mice, 16 Reithro, and 50 Micrastus (12 of these cooked by ann). One of the Reithros ting (46 mm). All the Micrastus adults, none lactating,
no open vaginas.
aug 27 Put 80 traps at Charlie Hill Rd + Trumilled, 4 p.m. Same live as aug 25.
aug 28 Run traps 7 to 9 a.m. Caught 49 micrastus (including
10 recaptures), 7 Reithro (including 5 recaptures), and 3 mice.
Left 5. Put 90 Sherman in Pasture(Orinda)
to recapture Reithros tagged
last spring and to clip
evidence.
Left 6. Run traps 7:30-9:30 a.m. Desert
every trip spring, 4 Micrastus (all young
or adults), 52 mice, and 23
Reithro, no recaptures although one with torn ear. Clipped
Vibrissae on Reithros + Micrastus. Left Mice for dissection.
Total 78 mice. This is about same trap live as May 3-5.
Left 7 Put 90 traps in field north
of Pasture, 5 to 6 p.m. Same
live as may 5.
Left 8 At 8 a.m. Traps held 49 Mice,
2 micrastus, and 16 Reithros;
total 67 mice. Clipped vibrissae
on Reithro and Micrastus, Left
