Fixed the Colum trapped in the pasture in Orinda.
after much hunting for runways and cuttings he caught
3 meadow mice in 12 traps. Found only 3 good sites
with field signs. No field mice or mus. By using
3 100-foot runway transects he estimated 3 meadow
mice there.

Orinda pasture enclosure inside is greener still
than outside, still dominated by vetch, then avena
(tall and green still), then rye grass. The vetch
browsed by deer. No mustard or Bromus ericoides.
