Pinyon grove traps held 4 Sorella angona, 1 microtus, ad 5 Pers. teneri and 1 Pers. maniculatus. Tagged and released the Pers. t. minor (# 1579 - 1585). 3 of the Sorella were dead, the other was released. Oct.2 Picked up Calbourn traps. Saw a boldly patterned gray & white cat approach the rock outcrop on my way; it was greeted by 2 yellow striped, half-grown kittens but then disaffored among the rocks nearby. I went up to the rocks and saw the two kittens in a shallow den, with a freshly
