The cat then walked about 10 yds along the trail and defecated on a low mat of clover in the middle of the trail. saw one redtail and 1 large serech owls. also I found 1 dead starkey adult microtus in middle of trail with sorting #666, about 100 yds from edge of Krehs area, also another adult ? microtus looking intact but with obvious contusions when slammed. In some places almost no green grass, just thistle plants and last year's dry grass. april 29. quite saw a nutria feeding in field north of pasture (Orinda).
