The mikes with many fleas Covering scats: The recent flurry of scat-collecting was more thorough than before, but covered same area. As many as half the scats might have been over not found on the August search. Nevertheless, the 5 gobbone in August and 10 gobbone now must almost all have been defecated since the end of the rainy season, in fact most of them since the firebreaks were serped ending June 13. Unless the predators come from elsewhere to defecate preferentially on my scat-hunting area, then the 15 gobbone must represent the mammalian predator catch (minimum) since the rains on this area. In fact, should be a fairly close correspondence with end of breeding season - Hence the mice represented in these scats were not being replaced. Scats from O'Misha, Sept 11, contained 83 muskrat, 1 rabbit, 3 mus, 1 Rather, and one sorting the 1499 (odd mikes tagged June 24 at A2). Mostly adult mikes. Scats from O'Misha Sept 19: 10 mikes adult, 2 rabbits. Rether Moved trophy book one number at 5 p.m. Saw 2 cats.
