Tiller land Total 4 mice, 14 Rethro, 12 Mus, 2 crickets = 32 at 4:30 p.m. set Row A nos. 1,3,5 etc., Row B nos. 2,4,6 etc. = 50 traps. Partly cloudy and cooler than yesterday. Picked up scate. Saw 2 cats and 1 quater snake near grid. The rain of a week or two ago has caused some growth. A few seedlings are coming up among the conifer stolbs (some look like mustard seedlings), and oats are sprouting in ditches along the paved road and in a few other places where the water was concentrated. I can see little effect out in the grassy hillside in Tiller. Left 28 Ran traps at 8 a.m. Cloudy. A few sprinkles during night (paddle on roof), but grass not wet.
