Tiller land
Total 4 mice, 14 Rethro, 12 Mus, 2 crickets = 32
at 4:30 p.m. set Row A nos. 1,3,5 etc., Row B
nos. 2,4,6 etc. = 50 traps. Partly cloudy and cooler than
yesterday. Picked up scate. Saw 2 cats and 1 quater

The rain of a week or two ago has caused some
growth. A few seedlings are coming up among the conifer
stolbs (some look like mustard seedlings), and oats are
sprouting in ditches along the paved road and in a few
other places where the water was concentrated. I can
see little effect out in the grassy hillside in Tiller.

night (paddle on roof), but grass not wet.
