While running traps and picking up traps saw 4 cats at one time, another one later. At least 3 of these were different than yesterday's 2, hence 5 or more cats are hunting within 100 yards of the grid. Picked up 2 large owl pellets under the big sequoias amidst the sequoias. Contained 3 miniature and 1 bird. 20 tags. The owl pellets from the pasture on Sept 20 contained 6 miniature and 1 bird (pigeon?), no tags all miniature trapped this summer have been of adult size, no juveniles. at 6 p.m. set rows A, C, E, F, H, I, J, K.
