July 7 at 7:30 a.m. (night clear, no dew) lower line had 10 micrutes, 8 Ruther, 16 mice, and upper line had 9 micrutes, 5 Ruther, and 15 mice.
at 4 p.m. (hot + sunny) lower line had 5 micrutes and 2 mice; upper line 5 micrutes and 2 mice (discarded all these P.M. specimens)
July 8. Night clear calm. Dew on greens of the Orinda Golf Course but none on the grass lines at 6:30 a.m.
lower line 5 micrutes, 3 Ruther, 20 mice;
upper line 5 micrutes, 3 Ruther, 17 mice, 1 bird leg, and about 10 traps rolled.

The micrutes was not breeding, had green vegetation in stomach, and herobogic lungs.
