Marshall,(1942) Venlorinis ferrigatus Lake Olomega, Fairly Common, but only in dense swamp forest at W side of lake. Always paired. Males located by their drumming fs by tapping. Very wild, hard to approach, very quiet. Foraging on small Dryobates - On trunk & larger branches of medium-sized trees.
