Marshall (1942) Pteroglossus torquatus Lake Chomega a most repulsive looking and sounding bird. Bills always caked with fruit. Seen several times in sm groups (4-5), in mixed open woods of large and small trees as along stream back of camp and area on sw edge of lake.
