Come out to edge of forest & hop around
in interior of small trees in the open.
Members of group stay close. Often all are in
same bush or on tree together. In rare
cases where found in jungle are in
tops & in vine clusters. Flock is always
rapidly on the move. Uncommon: rarely
see more than 1 group in a day. Calls:
soft mellow whistles: "whit" like R.b. thrush,
and when excited or chasing each other a
series of them followed by series of
reversed whistle \ ) ) "twak" with twanging
quality.

Koror 6Nov & 3Dec: Rare - only 2 seen - 1
taken 6th in top foliage breadfruit where
hopping around like vireo, 2nd taken in
top dead tree next to this, breadfruit where
perched silently like a flycatcher. Looked
like a WoodPewee up on highest twig. These
2 trees in cultivated area.

Babelthap 29Nov None heard in forested central
isls. but I was there at noon so maybe all
were quiet. Group of 6 or 7 seen in bushes edge
mangrove lagoon 13 Nov - far from any jungle. Call:
a mren-like rachety call. Pelelin Very abundant
