Palen Bostrops conspicillata into little bushes nr. a spring. Same day in some settled farm country came on a flock of about 50 - at first new with lg. flock of cinerea but cinerea went on ahead - altho both sp. followed same forage current. looked about hr to get back where started - a patch of large trees resembling any live oaks out in the lagoon. When fly across field - flock is very compact - all within a couple yds of each other & they go low - 3-6' up- get to series of trees & drift along thru foliage. Stragglers trail along in little bushes & weeds in the fields. Flock spent most time in patch of dense tall brush & vines. Much noise. Cinerea always farther ahead. When they got back to the trees in the lagoon they became quiet & just stayed there - at least 1/2 hr until I left. 2nd flock of 20+ in grove sm trees npt lagoon 1/4 mi away from 1st flock.
