Phalacrocorax melandicus
30 Nov. One seen in flight (neck straight)
was brilliant shining white below,
but the one collected - from a
snag above a fresh-water stream -
was a seedy-looking indiv.
Most common at Pelelin - often
see them in flight over highways.
Mesophrys intermedi
Koror. Seen daily - flock of about
a dozen - in farmland - grassy
& open.
Demigretta sacra
Pelelin Beach, mangrove lagoons, tide
flats W end, rocky N end totals :
White 1 or 2
Slate 4 or 5
White with black spots on back & wings 2.
Watch a mottled one foraging edge
mangrove lagoon. Crept about keeping low
& hunched up body horizontal.

Bubulcus ibis ?
Pelelin 2 Nov: I seen beach N end standing
on sand. White egret with bulky heavy black
bill. (As I recall the legs were light-colored).
