Conversed for long time attempting to shine them. It's call higher then it's. They flew back to over the grassland, but I finally got the & to come back & perch upon dead branch 15' above grass - looking at me ears str. up, hooting vertical body position. Looked just like Long-eared Owl. Good eyeshtine.
