March 8 2055 slid taken in under story of tall brushes in edge cloud forest - with several others. -- Common in brush in cloud forest & at immediate edge of cloud forest - seen everytime I go in such habitat - in flocks of 4-6. Come readily to squeak -cursors. An individual gives no notes sounding like a whole flock of foraging golden-crowned kinglets.
March 14 3 spec - 1 by M.H. all from cloud forest dense brush below - all solitary! One up about 15 ft. others low.
March 15 Some pairs, some small flocks. Single sleep~ kinglet or creeper.
March 18 Way out in brush & blackberry- away from cloud forest. Small flocks. P.M. pair seen - might say: wherever high dense brush.
April Nest found in gulley near stream below camp. On fern-covered bank near a few tall bushes - wheat all around. Feeding young.
