Marshall, 1942 Myioborus miniatus Les Esomiles March 9 2019 taken from pine limb in rather open cloud forest. March 19 separatos 2 seen on 2nd growth hill - came to owl - too close to shoot - went right on. No call. March 20 2124 came to owl call same place as yesterday. low in dense sm. trees 15' high. March 30 skel 8 2206 taken as sang early am. (only sing then - sometimes a little in evening) from brush at edge slide in cloud forest. -- Common in open parts of cloud forest as where thinned by logging & around edges of forest - affect, brush but sings from high in cloud forest oaks.
