March 13 2074 large ? & 2075 taken in traps set baited with oats (hill on the oats)
about 70' apart in dense under-story of brush in heavy cloud forest - w-facing slope.

March 17 2122 taken at dusk at edge slide-out on hill partly logged of cloud forest. Had heard the call a lyre like whistle + voice taweee from ridge brush(?) & I imitated it & the bird flew right past me & alighted - form very thrush-like.
Heard several more & saw flicks of their movement in dense brush within cloud forest - same high burges note - none singing. Very common but almost dark. noticeable only at this time day - when calling & coming out in open as do hermit thrushes when almost dark. I had heard this note previously at dusk on this ridge (back camp), up in young pines & deciduous trees, & sometimes during day in cloud forest.

March 19 2127 ? taken when attracted to owl in middle called with lyre note -
No real singing yet just 5-6 phrases
March 20 Calls heard even from pine & brush. P.M. several loud song phases
