Dec 25-Jan 16 Abundant but not uniformly distributed - only in flocks here & there in finca where usually with ruset-backed thrushes & mixed flocks. Found in little ravines especially where shady - foraging on berries in trees. Make a slight "seek" note when fly. Rapid flight - keep in dense trees most of time. Call heard early a.m. & late evening, a loud peculiar whistle 'k'ee oree' from all parts of finca.
Jan 14 in great numbers in humid type of brush & nearby trees on the north side of a ridge near the summit - also in trees near this brush down into a canyon. Always in well shaded spots.
