Marshall, 1942 Trogodytes rufociliatus Los Escamiles March 12 2066 taken as foraged up trunk orelid oak edge cloud forest (worked from grnd. up 15 ft) in orelids & mistletoe & on bark. Singing : trittering unmusical rapid slight harsh sounds. March 15 2092-3 taken in brush edge sm. clearing & slide respectively in cloud forest. Alarm note 2-syll. nasal & grating, very distinctive. Songs heard often.
