Dec 25-Jan 6. Loose flocks of 6 - 25 indiv.
often seen n. hacienda where
clearings with tall snags - many
birds in same tree. Would go out
after flies. Sometimes whole flock
would get away & fly south.
Jan 7 Flock in few trees in arid type
brush low on north slope.
Not noisy at all - just
occasional "hip hip." More or
less organized as flock - always a
few birds in snags in the clearing.
