Very local at this altitude (4600 ft.)
Several pairs around clearing in
inea where grass & brush. Would
perch on stumps or in trees
or flush into brush. Foraged
on trails & roads. Perched also
on wires & fence around coffee
drying ground. About 4 pairs in
the vicinity. 1 skin taken Jan 5 from
fence at clearing @ 1680.
Jan 18 goteng, Dept. Morazan, El Salvador
don trip down mt. to Jotera,
became more common lower down
until very abundant - cooing
everywhere.
Lake Olomega Abundant in grassland -
not as common as Columbigallia.
Club V. de Santa Ana noted - open ground.
