Huge flocks of thousands all around flat lake except hills & swamp forest. Fly in smaller units low over trees; each successive group takes same route. Feed in tops trees.
When start to fly, the clapping of launching birds lasts several minutes.
Los Esmerales Individuals occasionally flew by camp - in open co. below cloud forest.
V. de Santa Ana Common - not flocking. Several at Cypress Grove at Laguna de las Ranos - cooing. One taken.
